Arrived in Savannah last night for Interaction08, the first conference of IxDA, the Interaction Design Association. I’ll be blogging the sessions I attend for as long as I have battery life. 🙂
The biggest difference between this and the legion of technical conferences I’ve attended in my career is the male:female ratio, which much closer to 1:1 than any other event I’ve attended. For example, I’m sitting in a random row in the session room, and of the seven people in it, I’m the only guy. So I guess the ratio might actually be closer to 1:2 than >2:1.
